Fred is a fan favorite at the broadcast desk and at the felt, but many fans don’t know he also plays a crucial role behind the camera too. He is the executive producer of each show, designing the look of each episode and resolving complex production challenges. Since 2005, HPT has produced over 200 hour-long episodes, making it the largest independent producer of televised poker content in the U.S. Fred is hands-on at tour stops too, sharing his expertise with our casino partners to coordinate event logistics. And you thought he was just a pretty face.

Maria Ho is a record-breaking professional poker player with over a million dollars in live tournament earnings, currently ranked 3rd in the world among female poker players according to the Bluff Magazine Power Rankings. One of the most respected and recognized women in the game, Maria’s live results include 18 WSOP cashes, 2 World Series of Poker final tables, 3 WPT cashes, an Aussie Millions Final Table, and a World Poker Tour Final Table. In addition to poker Maria has had a successful television career, appearing on such shows as American Idol, as a panelist on Anderson Cooper 360, and competing on the Emmy award-winning season of The Amazing Race. She became the first female commentator in poker when she joined HPT’s broadcast team in 2013.

JAYMZ LARSON, Field Reporter
You’ve seen Jaymz on set calling the action at the final table and interviewing players holding piles of cash. Straight from America’s Heartland, Jaymz is accustomed to conducting interviews in the heat of the battle as a sideline reporter for the Cedar Rapids, Iowa Roughrider hockey team. He has 10 years of previous broadcasting experience as the host of an educational program on Mediacom Cable and as host of a weekly radio show on 94.1 KRNA in Cedar Rapids. Well-rounded on production, Jaymz is versed on the other side of the lens as well. HPT players may recognize Jaymz from his work filming and producing segments for HPT before his move to on-camera work. A freelance television producer, he’s honed his skills for clients such as MSNBC, Oprah, Doctor Phil, True TV, WWE, the Big Ten Network, CBS and ABC.
