WIth over $68k in cashes already this year, Seth Evans is having a hell of a 2018. He didn't quite get the win today but he can still add $17,722 to that total.
Charles Leroi had Seth Evans covered 5:1 when heads up play began so Evans knew he would need to get lucky early to make a run at the title. Evans found himself all in pretty quickly for just over 700k with 10-8 up against Leroi's ace-jack. The 7d2h10s flop had Evans poised and ready to double and make a run at the win. The Ks on the turn meant he needed to fade the remaining aces, queens, and jacks on the river. The river came the Jh and it was all over.
Leroi is our new champ and Evans is out in 2nd for $17,722.
