Golden Gates Casino & Poker Parlour - $1,650

And They're Off in Colorado

The $1,650 Main Event is underway at Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado. This stop is historically one of the biggest of the year on the HPT circuit. We're anticipating much of the same this time around. Dan Ross of Holdem Radio will be reporting on the event from start to finish at HPTupdates.com.

Time for some Big Blind Ante poker here in Black Hawk, CO as Heartland Poker Tour returns for the third time this year to Golden Gates Casino, home to some of the biggest prize pools each year on the HPT Tour.

Noon starts for flights Wednesday-Saturday, 30,000 starting stacks, 40-minute Day 1 levels and yes, BB Ante format.

Registration and the unlimited re-entry period is available until about 7:30pm each Day 1 flight - closing when cards go in the air after dinner break to start Level 10.

Colorado is NOT a Best Stack Forward state, so once you bag a Day 2 stack, you may NOT play another starting flight unless you FIRST forfeit your existing stack.

We'll be back at noon with live coverage of Day 1A, all the way through the final hand of the tournament Monday night.
