Day 1A Underway in Colorado

Cards are in the air for the first of three starting flights in the $1,650 Main Event at Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk, CO. Follow coverage on this event from Hold'em Radio's Dan Ross at

New for this trip to Black Hawk is 1+1, one entry and one re-entry per player (per flight) for the HPT Main Event. The previous 30 trips here were unlimited entry during the registration period.

Players open with 30,000 stacks and play 40-minute levels on Day 1. Registration and that single-available re-entry is open through the hour-long dinner break, closing when Level 10 begins at 7:30(ish)pm.

Day 1 play wraps up after 15 40-minute levels, the Bag-n-Tag taking place just shy of Midnight.

There's two more flights, Noon starts for both Friday and Saturday, all following this same format.

Day 2 play begins Sunday at 11am, playing down to the 9-handed final table that is slated to begin Monday at Noon.
