The $1,100 Main Event from The Meadows Racetrack and Casino just outside of Pittsburgh is underway. This tournament features two starting flights. Flight A is Friday at 2pm and Flight B is Saturday at noon. Day 2 will take place Sunday at 11am and the tournament will conclude with a televised final table on Monday at noon.
Family, friends, and fans alike can follow along with this weekend's tournament with double media coverage. Dan Ross of Holdem Media will provide reporting at HPTupdates and Jeff McMillan of PokerNews will cover the event as well.
The Meadows has tagged this Main Event with a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players start with 30,000 chips and blinds are set at 40 minutes each throughout.
HPT has awarded more than $2 million in prize pool money in the Pittsburgh market since it first visited in 2017. At the most recent event in April, registration on the Main Event closed with 345 total entrants. Dan Wagner topped the field in that tournament for a $76k payday.
Home of Pennsylvania’s largest jackpot ever paid, The Meadows is an all-inclusive entertainment destination and significant economic generator for the region. With its nearly 1,100 employees, The Meadows provides approximately $125 million in taxes annually and more than $14 million per year to the Local Share Account designated for new economic, community and industrial development projects.
